Florida Dissolution of Marriage (2-3 credits)

This course covers basic dissolution of marriage concepts and varying interpretations of relevant statutory provisions.  Concepts include equitable distribution, alimony, parenting, child support, domestic violence, modification, and pre- and post-marital agreements. The course also focuses on the practical aspects of dissolution of marriage, such as the attorney’s role, discovery and pleadings. Prerequisites: None
