Technology/IP Licensing (3 credits)

This course focuses on preparing students to counsel clients in intellectual property licensing matters and to draft and negotiate agreements involving patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets and software. Specific topics may include: overview of intellectual property law; business factors that influence intellectual property agreements; due diligence and audits; negotiating strategies; valuations; general contractual provisions and issues; antitrust issues; tax implications; and general enforcement.
