Students will work with attorneys and staff to complete real property transactions and to procure and contract for goods and services and to conduct legal research for the general counsel on issues that arise in the course of the corporation’s business. Students may also participate in rulemaking and administrative hearings, if these opportunities are available.
Prerequisites: Students must have satisfactorily completed Real Estate Transactions and Finance. Students are not certified pursuant to the Student Practice Rule.
Recommended Courses: Administrative Law or Florida Administrative Practice, Florida Civil Practice or Civil Pretrial Practice and Professional Responsibility.
Selection Process: Selection is based on the student applicant's overall record, courses, grades, career goals, expected graduation date, and other externships taken.
