TOEFL Requirement

If the applicant's native language is not English, the applicant must take the TOEFL. For admission, a student must achieve a score of at least 80 points on the Internet-based TOEFL.

At the time you register to take the TOEFL, request that your test scores be sent to Florida State University to avoid delays in processing your application. Florida State University's institutional code number is 5219. You should send a copy of your TOEFL scores with your application. However, official scores must be forwarded to FSU by the testing agency for the applicant's file to be deemed complete.

IELTS Requirement

The College of Law also accepts the International English Language Testing System. A student must achieve a minimum of 7 on this exam to be considered for admission. At the time you register to take the IELTS, request that your test scores be sent to Florida State University to avoid delays in processing your application.
