Why did you choose the College of Law?
I choose FSU College of Law for the faculty. Everyone on the faculty is a scholar: continuously researching, writing, speaking, and questioning the law. I saw that more at this law school than any other I considered.

Why do you want to be an attorney?
I want to be an attorney because I think studying law is the best way to make sense of our society and the way it works. I want to use that knowledge to help victims and their families use the legal system to reach justice.

What has been your favorite course since starting your legal education?
My favorite course at the law school so far also happens to be taught by my favorite professor: civil procedure with Professor Landau. Professor Landau is so knowledgeable and passionate about the civil system and makes the subject enjoyable. The law school is lucky to have him!

What do you recommend to guests visiting Tallahassee?
Cascades Park is just a short walk from campus and it is a great place to walk, run, exercise, be outside, catch a concert, or grab a bite to eat at the Edison. I run there in the mornings and the route is one mile around and goes by two lakes!

Fun fact about Melina.
I have been skydiving before!
