Florida State / College of Law / Admitted Students / First-Year Tips

August 5, 2011

Good afternoon —

Please review the general agenda for the mandatory orientation on August 24-25. If you have not yet registered for orientation, today is the deadline. You will receive a more detailed agenda when you check in for orientation on August 24.

Register online: http://www.law.fsu.edu/prospective_students/documents/2011-orientation-registration.htm

Additionally, the Registrar will be sending out your schedule via e-mail soon. If you do not receive your schedule by Monday, August 8, please contact the records office at records@law.fsu.edu. Please make sure that you check your spam / junk mail folder before contacting the office if you don’t see it in your inbox. The schedule you receive will include a link to the booklist so you will know which books to purchase.

IMPORTANT:

If you still have a Thagard Student Health Center hold of any kind, we will not be able to register you for classes.  If you are unsure of your health clearance status, please go to your online status checker to identify what, if anything, is missing and take care of it ASAP.  Although we will be sending you your schedule, we will not actually register you with the university until next week, so you will not see your schedule in Blackboard yet.

The countdown is on —  we are only 18 days away from orientation and we are looking forward to your arrival. If you have any questions, as always, please feel free to contact my office.

Sincerely,
Jennifer L. Kessinger, MS
