Mission Statement

Intellectual Property Law Society (IPLS) is an organization of law students interested in patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret, biotechnology and Internet law. Our mission is to encourage and facilitate student excellence in the field of intellectual property through:

  • Assisting the FSU research community in developing and commercializing new technology
  • Maintaining a network of interaction between students and local IP practitioners and alumni
  • Educating Florida State students on the latest substantive IP issues
  • Helping all interested FSU students find an IP niche
