Faye Jones was appointed Director of the Research Center at Florida State University College of Law in the summer of 2004. Prior to her appointment, she served as director of the McGeorge School of Law library in Sacramento, California, since 2000, where she taught a course on Computer and Internet Law. Previously, she served as associate director of Hastings College of Law Library from 1994-2000. She also has served as associate director and assistant librarian/head of Public Services at the University of Puget Sound Law Library. Jones practiced law in the U.S. Navy before becoming a professional law librarian. She is an active member of the American Association of Law Libraries, and is admitted to practice as a member of The Florida Bar. She has published articles and reviews in the Journal of Internet Law, the Hastings Law Journal, Law and Politics Book Review, the San Francisco Daily Journal and in the Nova Law Journal. Her research interests include cyberspace law, privacy and advanced legal research. |
