Dean Daniels is a December 2003 graduate of Florida State University College of Law, where she was a multiple award-winning member of the Moot Court team and Articles & Notes Editor of the Journal of Transnational Law & Policy.
She began her legal career as a law clerk for the Honorable Philip J. Padovano of the First District Court of Appeal and later joined Meyer and Brooks, P.A. as an associate specializing in labor and employment law and election law. She also served as an adjunct professor at the College of Law for three semesters.

Dean Daniels has been a member of the William H. Stafford Inn of Court and is a member of the Supreme Court Standing Committee on Fairness & Diversity, for which she co-authored two well-recognized publications on the Florida courts system. She also is an active member of the Tallahassee Bar Association, the Tallahassee Barristers Association, Tallahassee Women Lawyers and The Florida Bar. She received the 2005 Attorney of the Year award from the Law-Related Education Association for her work on the Bar's Standing Committee for Law-Related Education, which she currently chairs.
