Professor Jay Kesten’s research concentrates on both theoretical and empirical aspects of corporate governance. He teaches Corporate Finance, Corporations and Corporate Governance. Professor Kesten was formerly a visiting assistant professor at the Wake Forest University School of Law, and also has guest lectured at Wake Forest’s School of Business. Before entering law teaching, Kesten practiced for several years in Boston, most recently at Cooley Godward Kronish LLP, where he focused primarily on corporate and securities litigation. After graduation from law school in Canada, he clerked for the British Columbia Supreme Court.
