As a member of the first-year writing faculty, Ms. LaVia teaches Legal Research and Writing I and II. Prior to joining the FSU faculty, she worked for Holland & Knight in Tallahassee where she focused on appellate practice and ethics.

Ms. LaVia was a Research Editor for the University of Florida Law Review, served as a teaching fellow at the University of Florida College of Law and was elected to Order of the Coif.
