Mark Pankey has been with Florida State University since 1997 and joined the College of Law as Director of Development in May 2002. In 2007, he was promoted to a vice presidency of the Florida State University Foundation and in that capacity he oversees development for the university's colleges of Education, Social Science & Policy, Criminology and Engineering. He remains the senior development officer at the law school.

Before coming to Florida State University, Mark served in development roles at Iowa State University, Benedictine University and California University of Pennsylvania.
