Florida State Law offers an interdisciplinary program in Law & Business. Our mission is to graduate students with the legal expertise, economic sophistication and problem-solving skills necessary to serve clients in today’s increasingly complex business environment. Toward that end, our faculty has a deep expertise in the core areas of business law, corporate finance and economics. We also offer in-depth training in tax law, commercial law and transactional and drafting techniques.

Our business faculty has experience at some of the nation's top corporate law firms. Faculty members generate high-impact scholarship important both to the private and to the public sectors. In addition to publishing in traditional legal journals, including the nation's top law reviews, our faculty has published in leading economics and finance journals, including the Journal of Law, Economics, and Organization and the Journal of Corporate Finance. Our tax faculty is one of the nation's 15 most downloaded on the Social Science Research Network.
