Borrowing materials from the Research Center
Use your FSU ID Card to check out materials at the Circulation Desk. Most single-volume books circulate for three weeks and may be renewed for an additional three weeks if no one else has requested the item. Renewals may be made in person, online or by phone during business hours at 644-3485.
For further information regarding the Research Center's circulation policies, please contact Calvin Holloway, the Circulation Supervisor, or refer to the Research Center's Access & Circulation Policy.
Borrowing materials from other campus libraries
As a member of the FSU community, you may borrow items from all other libraries on campus. Your library privileges as a graduate student will allow you to check out items from other campus libraries for 6 weeks. Refer to the FSU Circulation Services and Policies page for more information.
Books on reserve for College of Law classes are kept at the Circulation Desk. They may be checked out for two hours' use in the Research Center during the day and for overnight use two hours before closing time. Books checked out overnight are due back one hour after the Research Center opens the following day. Computer files and videotapes kept at the Circulation Desk may not be taken out of the Research Center overnight. For assistance with accessing materials on reserve, contact the Circulation staff.
Students may request materials not owned by the Research Center through Interlibrary Loan. Requests for articles or books may be made to Jane Driber the Interlibrary Loan Assistant or Katie Miller, the Interlibrary Loan Librarian. If you need information about the status of an interlibrary loan request or wish to cancel a previously submitted request, please call 644-7480.
New Books Display
Recently acquired books are on display on the circulation desk near the Research Center exit. Books on display may be checked out for three weeks as other library materials.
