Access Policies

Access to the Law Library

The public is welcome to use the Law Library Monday - Friday, 8 a.m.- 6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. During other hours that the Law Library is open, only FSU, FAMU, and TCC students, faculty and staff; attorneys; and College of Law alumni will be admitted. If you have questions about after-hours access, please contact the Law Library Director or Associate Director.

Library Rules

The use of tobacco products are prohibited in the Law Library. Drinks are permitted in approved containers. Drinks must be in containers that have a top that can be closed. Sports cups with tops, coffee mugs with tops and bottles with tops are approved.

Marking or underlining in Law Library books is prohibited.

The Law Library is intended to be a quiet study area; please keep voices down. Study rooms are available for group discussions.

The Law School building closes at the same time the Law Library closes. Readers should be aware of Library closing times and plan accordingly. Only College of Law faculty and students are permitted to remain in the Library after closing. The building is checked regularly by the Campus Police.
