TALLAHASSEE —Hispanic Business magazine has named Florida State University College of Law the fifth best law school in the nation for Hispanic students.  This is the tenth year in a row that the College of Law has been named one of the top 10 law schools for Hispanic students. The 2013 rankings were released September 12.

The magazine based its rankings on Hispanic student enrollment, Hispanic faculty members, Hispanic student retention rates, degrees conferred to Hispanics, progressive programs aimed at increasing enrollment of Hispanic students and school reputation as reflected in U.S. News & World Report.

“We are all thrilled to once again be named in the Hispanic Business top 10,” said Dean Don Weidner. “The Hispanic dimensions of our school make a more dynamic environment for everyone.”

The Hispanic Business ranking comes on the heels of Florida State’s Student Bar Association receiving the Student Bar Association Award from the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Law Student Division. The award is the division’s top national honor.
