Florida State Law alumni maintain close ties with the law school and play a significant role in helping our students find employment. Florida State-educated lawyers can be found in almost every state. Our alumni are generous with their time and donate countless hours to helping students perfect their job search skills and learn about practicing law. Alumni in private firms, the judiciary, government service and nontraditional legal careers regularly visit campus to talk with students about their specific fields of practice and to answer students’ questions.

Many graduates participate in our Alumni Placement Mentor Program. As mentors, they advise students about job searches on a one-on-one basis. The Alumni Placement Mentor directory connects students to alumni who advise them about opportunities in specific geographical and interest areas. Additionally, alumni participate in our successful job preparation programs, including “Mach Speed Mock Interviews’’ and “Networking Nosh” lunches.
