Florida State Law offers an interdisciplinary program in Law & Business. Our mission is to graduate students with the legal expertise, economic sophistication and problem-solving skills necessary to serve clients in today’s increasingly complex business environment. Toward that end, our faculty has a deep expertise in the core areas of business law, corporate finance and economics. We also offer in-depth training in tax law, commercial law and transactional and drafting techniques. Our curriculum features more than 40 courses that reflect the breadth of our faculty’s expertise.

In addition to publishing in traditional legal journals, including the nation’s top law reviews, our faculty has published in leading economics and finance journals, including the Journal of Law, Economics, and Organization and the Journal of Corporate Finance. Our tax law faculty is one of the nation’s 15 most downloaded on the Social Science Research Network.
