As the capital city of the nation’s fourth most populous state, Tallahassee provides our students many educational and professional experiences while they are still in law school. Tallahassee’s vibrant legal community offers a wide variety of clerking and internship opportunities. The city is home to more than 500 law firms, numerous state and federal courts, and the legislative and executive branches of government. In August 2009, Tallahassee was named by U.S. News & World Report one of the nation's top 10 cities in which to find a job.

Students enjoy the city’s wide variety of social, cultural and outdoor activities. Many students take advantage of the law school’s close proximity to beaches, lakes, nature trails, golf courses and springs. Tallahassee also has excellent restaurants that rival the quality of restaurants in much larger cities. The city’s numerous sporting events provide additional entertainment options for students.
