Courtroom

Mock Trial Final Four

The College of Law's own Courtroom serves as a lecture facility, lab and a classroom. As a classroom, students experience the atmosphere and environment of a true legal setting before they ever have to enter the courtroom as a professional. Students, faculty, and advisors coordinate mock trials as an opportunity for students to become comfortable as full participants in a courtroom. Not only do students role play both the prosecution and the defense, but they act as witness and jury, all under the scrutiny of practitioners who serve as judges. Mock Trial Final Four

The technology center of the Courtroom films and records each student's presentation, allowing the student to review his or her case, learning from their experience. As well, the technology center will film the jury during deliberations, allowing the student to experience the impact they had on the jury. Jack Ford Speaks
