Meaghan Maus has been named One to Watch on the 2024 Best Lawyers in America list. Maus is an associate attorney at Johnson Jackson PLLC, a firm that specializes in labor and employment law in Tampa, Florida. Posted 9.10.23

Nicole Molner joined O'Melveny & Myers LLP in 2022 as an associate in their New York City office after completing two clerkships with bankruptcy judges in the Northern District of Florida and the Eastern District of New York. Molner's practice focuses on corporate bankruptcy and restructuring matters in and out of court across a variety of industries, including governmental sectors, financial services, and cryptocurrency. Allison P. Barkett is now an attorney at Dean Mead in the firm's Business Litigation Department. Barkett's practice focuses on representing corporate clients in matters related to disputes, including real estate and contract actions. Posted 5.3.23

Maja A. Hartzell has joined Bass, Berry & Sims in the firm's Nashville office, where she will focus in Labor & Employment Practice. Hartzell represents employers in a range of labor and employment law matters, defending against claims of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation before federal and state courts and other administrative entities. She has experience defending clients against claims arising under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Family and Medical Leave Act, state whistleblowing statutes, along with the prosecution and defense of claims alleging breaches of restrictive covenants. In addition, Hartzell counsels employers on employee handbooks, employment agreements, and other employment policies and practices in response to and in compliance with developments in employment law. Nanci McKenzie is now the executive vice president, compliance & product strategy for Affirmative Technologies. She adopted two teenage brothers from the Florida foster care system in 2021. McKenzie has also been appointed to Nacha's Payment Innovation Alliance's Fraud, Risk, and Regulatory Committee. Posted 4.13.22
