Benjamin C. DeStefano has joined Shuffield Lowman in the firm’s real estate, land use, and construction sections working in their Orlando office. DeStefano's prior experience includes work for a large international law firm where he concentrated in the areas of real estate development, landlord/tenant leasing, and representing both buyers and sellers in complex commercial real estate transactions. Katherine Katz has joined GrayRobinson's Labor and Employment Section and Construction Specialty Team in the firm’s Orlando office. Posted 6.23.22

Carmen Melendez was promoted to senior vice president at Citigroup after completing the Juris Master program and recently received the Citigroup Leader in Excellence award. Carmen also welcomed a new family member, Avalynn Rose. Posted 4.14.22

J. Tanner Heintz was named to the Million Dollar Advocates Forum for recovering over $1,000,000 for a client injured in a premises liability case. Heintz practices at Heintz Law in Bradenton, Florida. Posted 8.18.21

Nicholas "Nick" Cleary has accepted a two-year clerkship with Justice Polston at the Florida Supreme Court starting July 1. Posted 6.24.21

 

Allison Beattie has joined the D.C. office and healthcare practice of Bass, Berry & Sims’, which is ranked the third largest healthcare law firm in the U.S. by American Health Law Association (2020). Beattie was formerly assistant deputy general counsel at the Department of Health and Human Services. Posted 5.20.21

 

Hunter Pratt has accepted a clerkship with Judge Barbara Lagoa of the Eleventh Circuit. He will serve in this role from May through September of 2021. Posted 4.22.21

Hunter Pratt has accepted a clerkship with The Honorable Ursula Mancusi Ungaro of the Southern District of Florida to begin in the fall of 2021. Posted 8.10.20

Rima Nathan will be a participant in the Friends of HSF Alumni Speaker Series Virtual Q&A. She will present on the topic, "Getting More Than a Degree, Participating in All FSU Has to Offer." Posted 7.17.20

Falyn Skinner is now an associate at GrayRobinson in Orlando. Her areas of practice include construction, insurance defense and litigation. Posted 11.22.19

 

Samantha Coughlin is now an associate at Phelps Dunbar in New Orleans, LA. She practices in the area of insurance and reinsurance. Posted 11.19.19

 

Caroline Poor has accepted a one-year clerkship with Judge Allen Winsor, of the Northern District of Florida, to begin in August 2019. Posted 7.30.19
