Dean Miller joined the Florida State University College of Law staff in 2005 as an administrative assistant to the associate deans for administration and academic affairs and later became the executive support assistant to Dean Don Weidner. She has been intricately involved in the planning process for the law school's expansion into the First District Court of Appeal and brings to the office a wealth of prior experience in large office relocations. Before joining the law school, Dean Miller was a development specialist for the Florida School Boards Association, where she developed and implemented training modules for school board members and school district personnel throughout Florida.

She serves as a member of the Alumni Representative Committee for Columbia University.
