Congratulations to our Moot Court Team, which finished the 2020-2021 competition season with five national victories—more than any other law school in the country! Their spectacular season earned the FSU Law team a #1 ranking for national competitions won and a #8 ranking among all moot court programs in the nation. In addition, winning five national competitions set a record for FSU’s team. This feat was especially remarkable given that all of the competitions took place virtually, a space in which the students had never competed prior to COVID-19. We are in awe of our student advocates’ resilience and determination. Special congratulations are also due to Moot Court Team Advisors Nat Stern and Chris Busch, who so ably lead the team. And many thanks to the alumni, faculty members and friends who served as coaches, practice panel judges and counselors as students prepared for competitions. The team would not be nearly as successful without the guidance of a great many members of the FSU Law family.
