Why did you choose the College of Law?
I chose the FSU College of Law because it was by far the best learning environment I had seen when I was applying to and touring schools. Everyone is friendly and helpful, not just the staff and faculty, but also the students and alumni. You can tell that everyone genuinely cares about your success whether it be in the classroom, extra-curriculars, or in helping with future career plans.

What has been the best experience you have had at the College of Law thus far?
I made the Phi Alpha Delta trial team during my first semester. It is one of two trial teams available to 1Ls before the co-curricular trial team try-outs in the spring. It has been a really fun experience learning about litigation skills and expanding my education to outside of the classroom.

What has been your most challenging experience in the law school thus far?
My most challenging experience has been adapting my study habits to fit law school. I knew law school would be very different from undergrad, and everyone learns and studies differently. I’ve had to find what works for me in terms of note-taking, outlining, studying, and managing my time. The first semester of law school is challenging but I feel that I have a much better grasp of it now.

Which administrative office has been particularly helpful to you during your time at the College of Law?
The Career Services and Professional Development Office has been very helpful in navigating the career world, both while in law school and looking to the future. I especially enjoyed my individual meeting with them last semester because they take time to help you find what is right for you, and it’s nice to know they have your back.

Give one fun fact about yourself.
I love to travel and worked as a flight attendant for three years prior to coming to FSU!

Why did you become a student ambassador?
I am passionate about the reasons why I picked FSU Law and enjoy the opportunity to influence prospective student decisions just like my student ambassador did for me. It’s a great opportunity to be able to interact with future students and share the wonderful experiences I have had here at FSU.
