Why did you choose the College of Law?
I chose Florida State Law because of the many opportunities offered for my pursuit of International Human Rights Law and I saw that there was diversity in the human rights curriculum that I could not find elsewhere. Additionally, the faculty greatly impressed me and quickly made me feel connected.

What do you feel is unique about Tallahassee and/or the College of Law?
Tallahassee has a unique diversity in the activities one can do. Whether it is going on beautiful hikes, spending time with friends, or having a nice area to study, Tallahassee has it. The College of Law is special in its many opportunities to get involved in student organizations and mentorships.

How have you interacted with our alumni network?
Through using the Florida State Law Alumni Directory I have been able to identify alumni who are active in my area of interest, International Human Rights, and have been able to connect with them. Attending socials and receptions has also provided me with additional opportunities to meet alumni.

What has been the best experience you have had at the College of Law thus far?
The best experience I have had is being a legal intern for the Florida State University Center for the Advancement of Human Rights. It has been one of the best experiences afforded to me and has allowed me the opportunity to engage in an area of importance to me in a meaningful way while also engaging in law.

Give one fun fact about yourself.
I have climbed the tallest mountain in Wales, Mount Snowdon.

Why did you become a student ambassador?
As a student ambassador at my undergraduate university, I learned the importance of this position and how it can positively represent a school to prospective student. I love having the opportunity to connect with interested students, talk to them about their dedication, and show them the wonderful impact coming to FSU Law could have on their law career.
