What has been the best experience you have had at the College of Law thus far?
From meeting lifelong friends and future colleagues on my first day, to the wholesome support of upperclassmen, and to the thrill of answering my first cold call question, my experience as a whole has been the best part.

What has been your most challenging experience in law school thus far?
Being a non-traditional student, I knew getting back into a formal classroom after a four-year break between my undergraduate graduation and law school was going to be a difficult task. Luckily, my career as a financial advisor did help prepare me to adapt to the challenge because of the responsibilities and pressures of a professional full-time job, the necessity of working on my time-management skills, and the responsibilities of keeping up with continuing education requirements.

Which administrative office and/or professor has been particularly helpful to you during your time at the College of Law?
Professor Atkinson has been an endless ocean of knowledge throughout my time at the College of Law. He is able to provide insight on the day-to-day challenges of law school, and different strategies for handling them, all the while reassuring you that regardless of the method you choose, you can be successful if you work hard.

Give one fun fact about yourself.
I got a hole in one the third time I ever played golf.

Why did you become a student ambassador?
When deciding which law school I wanted to attend, my ambassador guided visit is what sealed my decision that FSU College of Law is where I wanted to be. I finally felt at home at a law school, and saw it as a place where I could be a part of a family rather than just another number on a page. I enjoy passing that feeling on to prospective students through being a Student ambassador. I also get the opportunity to help other non-traditional students feel welcome in their visits and answer their questions about what it’s like transferring from work back to school.
