U.S. News & World Report (2017) rates Florida State as the 48th best law school in the nation. Florida State’s environmental law program is ranked 14th best nationally.

Business Insider (2016) ranks Florida State as the nation’s 44th best law school.

The National Jurist magazine (2016) ranks Florida State the nation’s #9 “Best Value” law school.

Celebrating 50 Years of FSU Law

50 Years of FSU Law

When FSU Law welcomed its first students during the fall of 1966, the law school occupied part of Longmire Hall in the middle of campus. Now comprised of eight buildings that occupy two full city blocks, the law school has expanded along with its faculty, student body and offerings. In just half a century, FSU Law transformed into one of the nation’s top 50 law schools.
