According to ABA data for the class of 2015, Florida State is the #1 law school in Florida in terms of job placement.

Highlights

U.S. News & World Report (2016) rates Florida State as the 50th best law school in the nation. Florida State’s environmental law program is ranked 18th best and our tax law program is 23rd best nationally.

Business Insider (2016) ranks Florida State as the nation’s 44th best law school.

The National Jurist magazine (2016) ranks Florida State the nation’s #9 “Best Value” law school.


Featured Profile: Nancy Daniels

Featured Profile Nancy Daniels

As a reporter covering a high-profile death penalty case, Nancy Daniels was drawn to criminal law. Although she thought journalism would be her life-long profession, Daniels applied to law school after her editor remarked that Daniels had an aptitude for legal issues. At the end of 2016, Daniels will retire after serving for 26 years as public defender for the 2nd Judicial Circuit.
