What do you feel is unique about Tallahassee?
I think the most unique thing about Tallahassee is the natural beauty of the environment and architecture surrounding the campus and city. After attending Florida State University for undergrad, and experiencing what this city has to offer, including the opportunities that arise from being able to study and work in the capital, I couldn’t think of a better law school to attend than Florida State.

What has been the best experience you have had at the College of Law thus far?
The best experience I have had at the College of Law thus far is the friendships I have made with my classmates. I came into law school without having any friends or family in the area. However, after just my first semester, I was able to create meaningful friendships and memories that will last forever.

What has been your most challenging experience in law school thus far?
The most challenging experience in law school thus far has been adjusting to the amounts of daily reading. Law school is about accountability because you don’t have assignments throughout the semester to help your grades. The reading is what sets you up for passing your final exam and this was something I had never experienced in undergrad.

Which professor has been particularly helpful to you during your time at the College of Law?
Professor Atkinson has been the most helpful during my time thus far at the college of law. He is extremely interactive and personable which makes learning more interesting. He held outside coffee meetings and fun events that allowed us to get to know him and our classmates on a personal level.

Why did you become a student ambassador?
Choosing FSU Law was one of the best decisions I have ever made. The College of Law has already given me many incredible opportunities, friendships and experiences and being able to share this with prospective students helps show them how rewarding law school can be. As an ambassador, I love being able to share with students how important cohesion and networking opportunities are when deciding on a law school and how many of these opportunities are available here at FSU Law. As an alumna of Florida State University, and current student at the College of Law, this is a great way for me to give back to the school that has already given me so much.
