The Technology Department provides excellent support and training to enhance our students’ legal education.

The technology office maintains a help desk with a full-time staff of professionals to assist students with computer issues. 

If you are a student in need of technical assistance, please visit the help desk in room 339 of Roberts Hall or room A023 in the Advocacy Center, call the help desk at 850.644.7735 or email helpdesk@law.fsu.edu.

Here are some of the services provided to students by the technology department:

  • Maintains our technologically-advanced courtrooms and classrooms

  • Troubleshoots various software related issues

  • Provides assistance in installing Microsoft Office 365 on student laptops

  • Offers video conferencing for meetings, remote class presentations, and networking noshes 

  • Troubleshoots issues with student email on smartphones

  • Hosts training for Examsoft exam taking software

  • Removes viruses/malware/adware/etc. from student laptops

  • Resolves issues related to student email compromises

  • Assists with operating classroom equipment

  • Installs campus wireless connections or troubleshoots wireless connectivity problems
